Storage of access data

On every request of a file on my homepage, the operator of the webserver, currently domain)factory in Ismaning, Germany, stores some access data. Every record contains the follwowing data:

• the filename,
• date and time of the request,
• the number of bytes transmitted,
• the status code (file transmitted, file not found etc.),
• a description of the type of your webbrowser,
• your IP address,
• the URL of the referring website.

I will use the data provided by the server operators for statistical purposes only and not pass it on to third parties as long as I am not forced to do so by law.

Cookies

In the public part of this homepage no cookies are used. As an exception, a cookie is set if you try to login to the private part of the homepage. This cookie is only used to determine if cookies are available on your browser and not in order to store any kind of data.

In the private area of the homepage, cookies are used to store your credentials so that you need not enter your password more than once. No other data is stored in these cookies.
